Attendees of the session were provided with the latest statistics on California’s progress towards Governor Brown’s aggressive emissions reductions goals and objective to achieve 1.5 million ZEVs by 2025. The invitation-only group participated in interactive discussions and provided feedback related to the draft ZEV action plan currently in development by the Governor’s office.

“We are honored that EDI was invited to participate in Governor Brown’s ZEV summit,” said Joerg Ferchau, CEO of Efficient Drivetrains, Inc. “California is leading the nation in the zero emissions mission, and EDI is committed to helping our state achieve those goals by providing one of the industry’s largest portfolios of zero-emissions PHEV drivetrain solutions.”

EDI featured one of its industry-first work truck solutions at the event, which offers more power than conventional work vehicles, providing 100 percent OEM performance, while reducing emissions by up to 80 percent. Available in multiple configurations, the vehicles offer a variety of additional in-demand solutions, including jobsite idle elimination, 24+ hours of jobsite ePTO, and grid-reliable export power. The high-performance work trucks contain unique components, the industry’s only parallel-series drivetrain architecture, and proprietary control software and algorithms that efficiently coordinate all vehicle components for optimum fuel economy and emissions reductions.
